A compilation of work all combined into one. This new extruder assembly will fit any Prusa whos x rods use LM8UU bearings or their equivalent and whos 8mm X rods maintain a 45mm spacing. For E3D V6
With a cool 3/4 wrap around cooling duct you will achieve super duper prints and most excellent bridging.
The assembly requires 3mm brass inserts where screws join body parts together, this is by design as I no longer model parts that require threaded screws to rely on a plastic mount.
All wiring for thermistor, BLTouch and rear radial fan have built in tunneling to allow you to totally hide your wires within the extruder body. You will need to do some fishing just a bit to navigate the wires throughout the assembly, but it can and has been done.
Accepts a normal 5015 radial parts cooling fan and for the cooling fins for the extruder you will want to go with a 40mm fan setup.
Offsets: If using a pinda probe you will need to adjust the pinda probe offsets in Marlin. X offset is -31.8 and the Y offset is -9.5 If using a BLTouch the offsets are X -28.9 Y -4.6
Threaded Brass Inserts: You can get the proper threaded inserts for M3 threaded bolts at Amazon by following this link: https://amzn.to/2Qzj8bm or an alternate link for the same threaded inserts: https://amzn.to/2EldgLo
