Enough of this Awesome Old Glory Hydro dip film. Extremely detailed, photo realistic and super easy to apply. All you need to apply this is basic skills, a couple hex bits, a tub of water and a $12.00 can of activator available on ebay. These were custom designed and I only have a few available. Easy how to tutorials are available on youtube. Get these while I still have some available. There is enough film per order to do the entire top shell of any RC Transmitter.
Activator available here… don’t wait these will be gone fast!
I recommend watching a few how to video’s online to get an idea how to dip your parts. It is very easy however to understand the steps required viewing a few videos will go a long way to ensure success. Also, note that on the printed film, any areas that are clear/transparent the base color of your item being dipped will show thru. So when using this film in order for the stripes in the flag to become white you should paint your part to be dipped white. Standard white enamel spray paint will do fine in this application. As always when coating items always make sure they are smooth and clean to ensure best success chances. You can add Masking tape to the edges of the film to help it float in the water and remember that the pretty side goes down facing the water, the pretty side is what will become the surface of your dipped part and is the glossy side of the film. After dipping, rinse the part with room temp water with a spray attachment so that the jelly like coating is washed off, then allow to dry before spraying a clear coat on the finished part.
Have a watch of this young man dipping his radio transmitter case, he goes thru all the steps in this short video.
